Dear Reader,

Forget about checking your list twice, I have curated the perfect gift list for the children in your life!  For several years now books have been the go-to gift for the kiddos in my life. One of the blessings of writing my children’s book series is the opportunity to connect with other authors in this space.  Here is a short list of special books written by some special authors!

Illustrated by Sidra Mehmod

May I Please Have A Hug? is a picture book about a lonely cat who goes looking for a hug. He encounters rejection from other animals along the way until he learns that love can come when you least expect it.

I Love You, Fiorella, Flaws and All!

By Cindy A. Bell

Illustrated by Emily House

Fiorella and Mama Rose have a happy life until one day their guardian leaves them at an animal shelter. Feeling abandoned and unloved, Fiorella wonders what she has done wrong. She vows to change, believing it’s the only way to be adopted. Once she realizes being her imperfect self is enough, something wonderful happens.

The Fox Who Chased the Sky

By Elizabeth M. Reinhart

Illustrated by Aleksandra Bobrek

Little Fox is a curious creature who wants, more than anything, to experience the world outside his cozy den. With the sky overhead leading the way, he experiences both joy and fear. What will happen as he follows the sun through the adventures of the day? Will the moon walk beside him when the path home becomes difficult to see?

I hope the little ones on your list enjoy these books!  There is nothing better than hearing a child request a second or third read of a new book.

Happy Shopping!

Love Always,

Kristina Lucia xoxo
